Welcome to EyecarePlus and HearingPlus Riverwood
Our optometrical practice is celebrating over 60 years in Riverwood ! Established in 1961 by Brian Boardman (Optometrist), we are now part of the EyecarePlus group of independent optometrists .
Vera Angelovski is our qualified and highly experienced optometrist (member of Optometrists Association Australia).  EyecarePlus Riverwood offers eye examinations and contact lens fittings for adults and children, the latest quality fashion eyewear, and we now offer a new Digital Retinal Imaging (Retinal Camera) service.
Vera has been working in our practice for nearly 25 years, and will continue to work Full-Time
We now also welcome Nigel Whittle Optometrist to our practice. Nigel is a highly experienced Optometrist and a member of the OAO (Optometry Association of Australia) 
In 2007 we introduced HearingPlus Riverwood, our audiology and hearing aid service.
Vanessa Boardman is our university-qualified audiologist, and a member of the ASA (Audiology Society of Australia). She has extensive experience in hearing assessment and in fitting the latest digital hearing aids, and providing solutions and advice for a range of hearing problems.
Eyecare Plus
HearingPlus offers FREE hearing assessments and FREE hearing aids for eligible pensioners and (DVA) veterans, under the (OHS) Government Hearing Voucher Scheme.
We provide quality hearing aids for private-paying (adult) clients at affordable and competitive prices. We can test children’s hearing (from 5 years of age).
We have a large range of quality hearing devices from all the leading manufacturers, including Bernafon, Oticon, Siemens, Phonak, Unitron, Widex, Starkey and more.
All these manufacturers offer a large range of hearing aid styles, models, and features, in many styles, shapes and colours to suit every individual preference.
Several useful accessories are available for hearing aids today, including small Remote Control devices, and wireless communication devices that link the hearing aids to several other sound sources, such as landline and mobile phones, computers, personal music players, and televisions.
Our audiologist can recommend specific hearing devices for individual client’s needs, choosing from an extensive range offered by the world’s most respected manufacturers.
HearingPlus Riverwood is an independent and family-owned hearing clinic, and is not owned or managed by any manufacturer or wholesaler. We are a permanent hearing clinic, staffed by a fully qualified university-trained audiologist 4.5 -5 days a week. We believe that it is important to provide our valued customers with the most extensive choice from a large range of the latest hearing devices, so that they can choose the best solution for their individual requirements.  
We also provide occupational Noise Reduction Earplugs for musicians and for recreational use, as well as swimming earplugs. Plus we provide various Assistive Listening Devices and hearing accessories to be used alone or with hearing aids.
